Was it a good decision for Stanley to explore with men who had no experience as travelers? Why or why not?
It was a bad idea that Stanley to travel with men who had no experience as travelers. As much as I want to be an optimist, I am unable to be. Many of the men decided to leave the mission. Stanley commented that they were "unfaithful" (50). It is possible that the men who did this would have stayed along and help to complete the mission. Instead,the men ended up in terrible conditions. Even if they would be able to complete it they still may had died. (51-52). The mission would have been more successful, if Stanley would have chosen a better choice for the mission
